Storekeeper

Saudi Railway Company  Eastern, Saudi Arabia

Job description:

• Receives all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders.
• Reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received
• Coordination with logistics department to plan and receive shipments, as well as close all pending PO with the logistics.
• Knowledge of the FIFO base.
• Issues materials against approved requisitions.
• Updates the inventory records in the Oracle ERP system.
• Ensures sufficient stocks inventory and initiate replenishments when necessary.
• Arranges to Ships damaged items back to vendors as appropriate.
• Maintains the scrap yard and store the return materials as appropriate.
• Handles and documents storage and transportation of hazardous materials.
• Arranges and prepare in-transit shipments between different company’s warehouses.
• Handling with chemical items as per the SAR policy.
• Daily cycle count.
• Maintains the warehouse, equipment and instruments. Ensures cleanliness of work areas.
• Uses equipment necessary for the handling, shifting, or moving of material
• Trains and directs the new storekeepers.
• Other adhoc duties assigned by superiors from time to time.
• Loading items from location.
• Unloading items from location.
• Make inspection list for forklift.
• Transportation items from/to warehouses.
• Storekeeper should have forklift license.
